This is a mix I put together in anticipation for a couple of shows we’re doing soon. On Thursday June 17 the whole posse is getting together at Savoy for a little event we like to call Event, and then the week after on Thursday June 24 we’re at Andy Poolhall with Lucie Tic for their weekly Stacked party.

So this mix is mostly midtempo disco or disco-esque jams, and it’s pretty alright. I’ll probably make three more by the time these parties actually happen. Cue tracklist!

Edit: We definitely played most of this out at the Sept 16 Wrongbar show with Snow Patrol and the drummer from Belle And Sebastian. Namedrop namedrop.

Made a 50-track mix at the end of last year with a wide variety of tunes spanning too many genres. It ends up coming together pretty decently, but I never got it exactly right, and ending up making about 5 different ones, and then scrapping the whole thing and making 10 straight up club mixes, all of which are thematically cohesive and kinda dull because of that. So anyway here’s the one indie rock/club rap/disco/house/bangers/slow burners mix I was okay with.
